ITU warns of network ‘infrastructure gap’

International Telecommunications Union (ITU) secretary-general Hamadoun Touré on Friday urged mobile operators to deploy IMT-Advanced-compliant mobile broadband networks and for governments to "slash" taxes on communications technology equipment and services.
